Give Fort Worth a try. A good movie at the museum and a stroll around the lights of #Sundance Square. And don’t forget dinner.

Finding Art
Have you ever wondered what inspires art? Where art comes from? What makes something art?
Art comes from all around us. It comes from within us. We are art.
Caring about others is an art. War is an art. Not a pretty one but it is an art none the less. Living is an art, although one that at times seems to almost be a lost art.
My art comes from empathy and loss. Empathy, the greatest loss we have encountered. Loss of empathy, that is my greatest inspiration. Not my loss of empathy, but yours.
I found this just recently in the midst of a crowd. This is my art.
The shot I missed was her giving him her smoothie.
This is more than the art of street photography, this is the art of empathy, caring and love.
This is my inspiration. What is yours?

Pictures: Fort Worth Main Street Art Festival
Over this last weekend, Fort Worth held it’s Main Street Arts Festival in Sundance Square. Running from the library all the way down to the doors or the Convention Center artists and artisan’s booths filled the square. Saturday was a great day for families and couples. Most impressive was the Fort Worth ISD students art works, they were unfortunately tucked up at the top of Main St and not all too easy to find. The search for them was more than worth the effort. A big shout-out to the staff and volunteers who brought the weekend together, the Fort Worth PD (awesome job) and all the stores and restaurants and their hard working staff members in and around the square.
